Practical information
True village of cabins nestled in the middle of the forest
The Cabanes de Labrousse in Belsentes, Ardèche, offer you an unforgettable experience in the heart of nature. Cécile and Stéphane welcome you to an exceptional setting, where ten treehouses await you for a unique getaway. Nestled in a forest of Douglas firs and chestnut trees, you will enjoy an unusual stay, far from the daily hustle and bustle, for a moment of complete disconnection.
Each cabin, carefully built by local artisans, is one of a kind. The heights range from 4.5 meters to 10 meters, some accessible by stairs, others by flexible ladders requiring personal protective equipment. Family cabins can accommodate up to five people, while adventure cabins will provide thrills for the more daring. Without water or electricity, these accommodations invite you to reconnect with nature, lulled by the sounds of the forest and birdsong.
Comfort is not lacking despite the rustic character of the cabins. Dry toilets are available in each cabin, and shared facilities are accessible to all. In the morning, a breakfast basket, including local products such as bread, butter, jam, and artisanal apple juice, is left at the foot of your tree. You simply need to hoist it up with a rope, a fun experience for both kids and adults. Meal baskets can also be ordered, featuring local specialties.
For those seeking relaxation, a private spa is available upon reservation, offering a moment of well-being in the heart of nature. You can unwind in a bubbling bath while admiring the sunset over the surrounding valleys, enveloped by the soothing sounds of the forest. This haven of peace invites you to recharge, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
During your stay, remember to bring suitable clothing and walking shoes, as access to the cabins is on foot and evenings can be chilly. Packing a backpack instead of a suitcase will make your trip easier. The provided headlamps add an extra touch of adventure, especially for children.
In addition to enjoying the cabins, explore the surroundings of Ardèche. The region is full of treasures to discover. Don’t miss visiting the Ardèche Gorges, a spectacular natural site offering hiking, canoeing, and swimming opportunities. The medieval village of Balazuc, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, also deserves a visit with its picturesque alleys and stone houses. For prehistory enthusiasts, the Pont-d'Arc cave, a replica of the Chauvet Cave, immerses you in the fascinating world of our ancestors.
The Cabanes de Labrousse promise you an exotic and revitalizing stay, close to nature. Whether you come with family, as a couple, or with friends, you will leave with memorable memories and the desire to return.
