Once, this typical Loire boat came in different, relatively similar forms depending on its intended use: sand dredging, transporting goods, people, or fishing with a net barrier, and was characterized by its shelter and its "piautre," a large rudder. At first glance, a cabin placed on a flat-bottomed boat.
Revisited but still made of wood, the "toue cabanée" proves to become a picturesque floating room. With large openings, it gives prominence to nature, the surrounding wildlife, and tranquility.
