Our selection for spending an unusual night in a crane
The Netherlands is somewhat of a lone ranger when it comes to port cranes transformed into unique accommodation. The Harlingen crane, the oldest example in this field, has just been joined by a new transformation at the port of Amsterdam (April 2014). Well, no... Now, it's not just sailors singing in the port of Amsterdam!
Our greatest wish would be for one of the 3 cranes in Marseille to join this very exclusive club, unless Bordeaux, Le Havre, or Saint-Nazaire strikes first.
