Solidarity, responsible and alternative accommodations

Our selection

In this Solidarity Hotels section, we explore the initiatives of hoteliers involved in participatory projects that evolve practices -as well as mentalities- and implement concrete solutions. Solidarity, fair, sustainable, eco-responsible, the formulations are numerous because these companies are committed to putting tourism at the service of integration and the environment. They also demonstrate that investments in good practices have an economic interest, and that is essential.
In Paris, since 2009, Franck Laval has made the Solar Hotel an innovative and exemplary place in terms of ecology. Anne-Sophie de Boulois paved the way for professional integration in 2012 by creating the Zazie Hotel, the first hotel labeled as a 'solidarity and social utility enterprise' in the capital. In London, the Good Hotel London became in 2016 both the first floating hotel and also a professional integration project.
Choosing this category of hotel is also about developing an ecological and solidarity-based approach and becoming a responsible tourism actor. And at very affordable prices. 2017 was declared by the United Nations as the "International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development," so let's go!
