Haute-Couture Hotels

To the meeting of fashion

Couture hotel, Haute-Couture hotel? The concept has existed only recently and the term is not yet well defined.
It all began in 2000 with the Palazzo Versace on Australia's Gold Coast. At that time, designer Donatella Versace initiated this new trend that brings together fashion and luxury hospitality.
Often associated with great fashion designers, these new hotels ride the wave and take advantage of their fame to attract a new clientele. Whether it's to completely redesign an interior, notably with the Hotel du Petit Moulin (Paris) by Christian Lacroix, or to create a new signature, Maison Moschino in Milan, Armani hotels in Milan and Dubai, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts in Milan, London, Bali, and soon Shanghai, the incursions of big fashion names are becoming more and more prevalent.
Couture Hotels are not limited to these names that make headlines. Alongside Chanel, Missoni, Ralph Lauren, Karl Lagerfeld, Laura Ashley, and other names already mentioned, lovers of textiles, fabric, drapes, or lace completely rethink their hotel's decoration to offer a more subdued and intimate atmosphere. Not quite unusual but a little bit so, here we present some of these hotels dedicated to lovers of fine materials.
