Calèche Fluviale Holy D'O, funny name for a boat
Feel like leaving Paris for a few hours of calm? Moored at Port Premier de Vigneux, on the doorstep of the capital, a rather curious boat transforms into a bedroom as night falls.
At first glance, the uniqueness of the 'calèche fluviale' Holy D'O becomes evident. It must be said that its story is unique. Designed by three friends, including an architect, its creation as part of their study project allowed several classes of boilermaking students at the Dunkerque Europe School to obtain their diplomas. They are the ones who named it 'calèche fluviale'.
Since its owner opened it for rental, Holy D'O! offers its occupants beautiful days of relaxation; guests leave enchanted, rested, and with stars in their eyes.
In the guestbook provided, everyone leaves glowing reflections of this break in the heart of nature, just a 10-minute walk from the activities at the leisure base of Port aux Cerises (tree climbing, kayaking, pedal boats, tennis, wave pool and slide, skateboard track, soccer field, mini golf, biking, walks, picnics, Children's Kingdom with rides, flying chairs, trampolines, quads, duck fishing, pony club, little train, etc).
A true floating studio, Holy D'O! transforms in the evening to accommodate up to 4 adults or a couple with 1, 2, or 3 children.
Onboard, there's a kitchenette, toilets, and in the captain's cabin, a shower.
