Night on an old tugboat
Presentation
Practical information
Iodized night and gourmet escape on turquoise waters.
This tugboat from the 1960s witnessed the ships of the arsenal and the submarines of the submarine base before continuing its life in Brest, working on underwater projects in the Iroise Sea. Bought by the pilot boat captain, it returned to the port of Lorient in 2000.
Transformed into a tourist boat under the inspiration of Yannick, a merchant navy officer fulfilling his dream, this working vessel begins its 4th life. Today renamed Arzmael (prince of bears) and moored in Lorient, it welcomes guests for a night at the Rohan quay or sets sail on the turquoise waters of the Morbihan islands.
Up to 9 people can experience life on board. Once the famous Etel bar is crossed, the journey leads to Belle-Île, Groix, or Les Glénans. At the bow of the boat, the former crew quarters have been converted into a cabin; two additional cabins have been created on the deck. The kitchen and bar have been installed at the engine block level, and the circular dining room has been arranged at the rear, on the newly repainted red deck. From breakfast onwards, indulgence is a priority on board. Trolling or crab fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or snorkeling trips—Yannick, his father Lucien-Michel, and lifelong friend Laura will be delighted to share these moments at sea with you.
✯ Open all year round as a bed and breakfast at the quay, cruises resume in spring ✯
