A green paradise in the Joux forest massif
Here is a unique place, far from everything, yet so close to happiness. This lovely caravan awaits guests seeking simplicity and serenity in a high-altitude clearing.
Constance (freelance journalist) and Daniel (publisher) chose to settle in this old isolated farm in the hamlet of Le Monthury. At an altitude of 840m and 6 km from the nearest neighbor, they warmly open the doors to their green paradise: two guest rooms, a holiday cottage, and Drô'lit, their typically Irish caravan.
Drô'lit is the magical caravan where holiday memories are made for two, with a child, or as a couple. At the edge of the forest, one listens to nature - hearing a fox's bark for the first time is unforgettable! -, the cowbells ringing in the alpine pasture, and takes time to marvel at simple pleasures, like dining tête-à-tête by the light of a solar lamp or gazing at the Milky Way before slipping under the duvet.
A favorite address to (re)discover, over a weekend or during a green getaway, the forest and mountain pasture landscapes of the Joux massif, the vineyard and Arbois region, or the lakes and waterfalls that make the Haut-Jura famous.

Pricing details
Rates 2022, €60 per night for two during the week (€70 on weekends), bed prepared, fresh and gourmet breakfast included.The Drô'lit caravan for two people,
without running water or electricity, but with dry toilets and solar shower outside and the possibility to shower at the owners' house in case of bad weather (100 m), bed made upon your arrival,
is rented independently from the cottage:
⊹ during the week, €60 per night (€100 for two nights during the week)
⊹ on weekends, €70 per night (€120 for two nights on weekends)
The cottage for 6 people,
170 m2 facing south/southwest,
is rented from Saturday to Saturday, heating, wood for the stove or fireplace, household linen (beds made upon your arrival) and towels included:
⊹ off-season, €650 per week
⊹ school holidays, €750 per week
The two independent guest rooms, for 2-4 people (double room and twin room), with terrace/solarium with a 180° view, deckchairs and hammock in the garden, BBQ, and much more,
are rented per night, household linen (beds made upon your arrival) and towels included.
⊹ during the week, €60 per night, €100 for two nights
⊹ on weekends, €70 per night, €120 for two nights
Upon request, countryside basket (drink, coffee/infusion included), €15 per person
