The Tanneurs canal, also known as the Little Jura Venice, with the orphanage house and the Hôtel-Dieu, the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame with its bell tower, one of the tallest in Franche-Comté, or the Louis Pasteur House where the scientist was born (700m from the barge!).
Dole is also a must-visit destination for cycling enthusiasts, and the barge is less than 5 km from the Eurovélo6, a cycling route connecting the Rhine to the Atlantic, the Véloroute des Fleuves.
