Practical information
Soft melody, wild music, or grand organs, everyone plays their own part!
From the moment you step in, the tone is set, that of a universe with musical and artistic references, both chic and amusing, like this flight case turned into a counter or these pieces of furniture inspired by the curves of musical instruments.
The architect-designer Philippe Maidenberg teamed up with five internationally renowned musicians to create a scenography in which each brought their personal touch.
So who are they?
On the 1st floor, Mc Solaar -Bouge de là, Victime de la mode, Caroline, does that remind you of the 90s and the beginning of French rap?-, one of the best drummers on the world stage Manu Katché is on the 2nd floor, the elegant saxophonist Archie Shepp on the 3rd floor, a French monument, Jacques Higelin is on the 4th floor, and on the 5th floor, the folk universe of the soft -or unrestrained, depending on the mood- Rickie Lee Jones. Thus, as you ascend the floors, through accessories or decorative elements, they watch over us a little and invite us into their musical world.
We love having fun spotting the faces of these five great artists that have been incorporated into the wallpaper of the staircase, touching the imprints and molds of their hands, decoding the stories they tell us in each of the rooms. Then comes the time to make the place your own, each at their own tempo ツ
