At Institut San Giuseppe, the convent also houses a kindergarten and primary school on the lower floors, as this congregation founded (1850) in Venice—established in Brazil (1927), the Philippines (1992), and Kenya (2002)—is dedicated to the human and Christian education of children.
Quite naturally, you will be welcomed with a sister's smile.
Married couples and families can spend the night in one of the 14 simple, quiet rooms, with bathroom and toilet. You will find one single room; the others have between 2 and 4 beds.
The only notable differences are that breakfast will be taken outside the Institut and a "curfew" awaits you at 10:30 PM in winter, 11 PM in summer. After enjoying this beautiful city and retracing your steps a few times in the Venetian calli, perhaps this will suit you...
