Treehouse in Picardy
Presentation
Practical information
Go on, a little zipline ride to access your house in the Compiègne forest!
The beautiful adventure of Le Nid dans l'Arbre came to an end at the end of October 2016.
If you want to know more, you can read the article in the Courrier Picard or in the Parisien.
Fancy some fresh air near the Compiègne forest, listening to the sounds of nature at night? A creak, a hoot, or a bellow (our friend the stag is back) for the luckiest?
Among the treehouses perched in the oaks of the Pierrefonds forest, in the Oise, three of them are accessible by stairs, and open to everyone, young and old, allowing family gatherings: Ti amo, La Cachette, and Ensemble c'est tout. Worth noting for gatherings of up to 8 people, the treehouse Ensemble c'est tout is open with no age restrictions.
The other 7 treehouses are a bit higher, between 5 and 8 meters, accessible by... zipline!
Breakfast is delivered at the foot of your treehouse around 9 a.m. These small houses perched on the trees are entirely wooden, beautifully decorated, equipped with candles and self-contained toilets. You have a 5-liter water supply, and the treehouses are heated.
At the reception point, an 18th-century renovated barn, ecological toilets and showers are available for you.
Once you've donned the safety gear and received the instructions, all that's left is to take the plunge! Harness, pulley, headlamp, and dynamo flashlight will hold no secrets for you.
✯ Open from April to the end of October ✯
