This is what Ronny and Damienne Muyshondt offer. Since 2003, this Flemish couple has been welcoming visitors from around the world aboard their three-masted ship, the Marjorie II.
Renowned for their excellent seafaring capabilities, the schooners of the Nobigkrug series sailed between Baltic Sea ports until the end of the last century. The Marjorie II is one of the last three representatives of this now-disappeared fleet.
Permanently docked in Antwerp's old port, this three-masted ship transformed into a floating hotel offers an unparalleled setting with unique comfort. Onboard, space is optimized as it was during great crossings. Charming and cozy, the rooms feature soft beds and a timelessly appealing wooden decor.
If you step ashore, you can explore the spectacular Museum Aan de Stroom, which through unique exhibitions combining anthropology and ethnology, explores humanity's relationship with the sea. Antwerp's old town with its typically Flemish ornate facades or the Saint Charles Borromeo Church decorated by the painter Rubens himself are also must-sees.
