Pretty wooden chalets perched in the middle of the Vosges forest.
On the side of Gérardmer, here are nine very pretty cabins built from larch and Douglas wood, like small tree houses. They are the work of François Horcholle, the owner of the premises.
Ecological, unique, warm, well-equipped with their kitchen and sanitary facilities (even bathrooms), heated, carefully decorated, they blend into this majestic setting of the Vosges forest.
Two of them are offered to the more athletic as they are not for the faint-hearted. If climbing two ladders to reach a cabin perched 10 m up in a Vosges fir tree doesn't scare you, the L'Observatoire cabin (2 people) is made for you!
The family cabin La Fun (5 people) is also reserved for the daring, capable of crossing a long suspension bridge after climbing to the top of the ladder.
For everyone else, head to the love nests that are easily accessible: Le Repère and Vision Forêt (one of the newest) for a tête-à-tête 6m high in a magnificent ash tree. The Tour and La Double cabins are rather designed for spending time with friends or family (5 people). Two cabins play the exceptional card to charm us: The Deluxe cabin, which accommodates up to eight people over two floors and hides a Finnish bath on the terrace, and the DeLuxe Bien Hêtre cabin with a panoramic roof and a private sauna.
Special mention for the L'Avancée Nature cabin accessible to people with reduced mobility thanks to a wide pontoon and an Italian shower. Spacious (3 double beds, one of which is 160 cm), bathed in sunlight, it has, like all family cabins, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and sanitary facilities.
At Nids des Vosges, comfort is promised in every season and the pleasure of nature. A good dose of fresh Vosges air, a spectacular setting, and peace for absolute relaxation.

Rates 2019, depending on the season from €149 to €199 per nest for two adults, breakfast included and beds made upon your arrival.Special rate for the DeLuxe cabins (n°8) and DeLuxe Bien Hêtre with its private sauna (n°9): €249 in low season and €299 in high season.
In all cabins, sanitary facilities, electricity and good insulation, and no unpleasant surprises, everything is included in the price: towels and household linen, heating, and electricity.
Free accommodation and breakfast for children in family cabins (1 to 3 children under 14 years old).
