Staying at this hotel designed by stylist-designer Stella Cadente means immersing yourself in her lifestyle, a blend of fairy tales - her Ukrainian grandmother used to tell her when she was a child - fantasy, sensuality, and poetry.
After a first experience with the opening of a guest house in Provins, the designer decorated these 38 rooms on Boulevard Beaumarchais, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
For Stella Cadente, colors dress the walls and set the scene of the tale she takes us to with the light of her 'Medusa', jellyfish as luminous as they are harmless, whose optical fiber filaments change color.
Dominant blue - her favorite color - for the Enchanted Forest room - the recurring theme of the hotel - with its sublime wrought iron headboard and baroque bathtub, dark green reminiscent of the night, brilliant yellow of the sunset, or monochrome, like this Gold room covered with gold leaf or its companion Silvery room.
The icy kingdom of the Snow Queen is an immaculate white, sparkling brightly with Swarovski crystals and pendants. Black and white tiles, red and mauve stripes in the Alice in Wonderland room, while the Joker room will reveal its cards when you turn on the black light.
On the 7th and top floor, the attic rooms decorated around the theme of the 7 deadly sins are smaller, but they offer a wonderful view of the rooftops of Paris.
Let yourself be carried away by this colorful universe, populated by forest animals and birds a few steps from the Bastille and Place des Vosges.
Good to know, the hotel has kept triple and quadruple rooms.
