By stepping through the door of the 4-star hotel designed by Vincent Bastié, you travel back in time. Lamps with diffused lighting, coffee tables, armchairs, and furniture signed by 1950s designers, formica, chick yellow colors, houndstooth, checkerboard, and lurex, welcome to the fifties made in America. Even the breakfast room takes you to a "diner," a vintage American cafeteria.
Moving from the common areas to the rooms, you get closer to the Hollywood star. The elevator plays excerpts from the actress's films, posters, press clippings, photographs, and large formats by André de Dienes and Georges Barris adorn the walls.
To pay homage to the star of stars, the 46 rooms and suites revisit her universe and invite you into her intimacy.
The Platine room with its round bed, like all the superior rooms, showcases black and red, her favorite colors, petals from her favorite flower, and the polka dot theme reminiscent of the polka dot dresses she loved to wear.
The Deluxe room No. 106 becomes more sensual with gold as the guiding thread between all the materials and the number 5, reminding us of those few drops of perfume that became legendary, the ones Marilyn claimed to wear as her only clothing at night.
Don't forget to make a small detour to the hotel's spa before heading to the honesty bar!
