My bed in the stable, a night in the straw.
To the south of Lake Brienz, on its small peninsula bordered by turquoise waters, the village of Iseltwald is a charming stop in this central part of Switzerland. To experience something truly unique - and never mind the clichés, the idea is to have fun - nothing beats sleeping on a bed of straw, Schlafen im Stroh.
In this working farm, when the cows are in the alpine pastures, the stable's straw becomes the bed for holidaymakers, hikers, cyclists, and families on an outing. At breakfast around the large table, impressions are shared. Spaniards, Dutch, Germans, Australians, and South Koreans have been delighted with their night!
On the way to the famous Giessbach Falls, reachable safely by bike path, boat, or even on foot (1h30).

Rates 2021, per night per person, blanket, pillow, and breakfast included (approximately €32).Max 30 places, from June to the end of September, after which the cows take back their barn!
Bathroom on site, free private parking.
