Unusual guesthouse in Bristol
Presentation
Practical information
Shifted night in a mixed city.
Bristol, behind its calm appearance, is a city with a turbulent past, a mixed, contemporary, and trendy city that constantly reinvents itself. A perfect destination for a weekend.
In the cobbled and winding streets of the old town, while strolling around the lanes of St Nicholas Market, look up and you will spot a peculiar place to stay in this capital of the west.
Full of humor and passionate about the 1950s, Carla and Andrew Brooks, the owners of Brooks Guesthouse Bristol, decided to shake up their clientele's habits and reinvent the B&B. And with spring 2014, four shiny Airstreams, iconic American caravans, landed on the roof of their guesthouse, a roof transformed into a garden with grass, plants, and painted walls. Local craftsmen also contributed to the project by designing the interiors so that retro charm and hotel comfort blend perfectly.
Double bed, small but complete bathroom with courtesy items and soft towels, wardrobe, television, and the essential iPod docking station integrated into the DVD players, courtesy tray, and even an eco-friendly heater.
16, 18, and 20 feet (5 to 6 meters), three sizes of Airstreams to accommodate 2 to 4 people.
Quirky, fun, and urban, this B&B concept offers you Bristol from a new perspective.
