Practical information
The smallest hotel in the world?
Entering the Central Hotel & Cafe is a journey in itself. A journey back in time while sharing local life, with regulars happily gathering at the ground floor café.
This small corner house was the shop of a cobbler in the Vesterbro district in the early 1900s. After the war, he transformed his attic into a living space.
Although nothing remains from that time, every detail of the layout has been carefully thought out by Jacob Kampp and Leif Thingtved to offer you absolute comfort within 12 sqm and make you feel at home. Perhaps it is because they managed to retain the soul of this attic, which has become a haven for urban travelers.
An extraordinary double bed and waxed wooden furniture, a desk with its integrated mini-saddle and a small table, a bathroom with shower, everything is charming and intimate. The television is hidden, an iPod station (iPhone provided) is just as discreet. A mini-bar and flowers await you.
You will know where to ask for coffee in the morning! But your breakfast awaits you a few streets away from your room, at Granola, a very popular spot among Danes, and it's also where you'll discover the best Rødgrød in the city (THE red berry porridge).
