Your night suspended on the cliffside above Lake Annecy: breathe and admire.
When high mountain guides "addicted to verticality" offer you the chance to share this unique experience of sleeping on a cliffside, it's an opportunity that thrill-seekers cannot pass up.
Guillaume Avrisani and Philippe Batoux have been traveling the world and exploring the most beautiful mountains on the planet for nearly 20 years. And yet, it is Lake Annecy that they have decided to show us from a new perspective. On the agenda for the small group supervised by these specialists: a 3-hour mountain hike, 200m of abseiling, fondue on the wall, a night on a portaledge -500m above the lake!- and breakfast suspended in front of a fabulous panorama.
The portaledge? It's a wall tent previously reserved for climbing professionals during multi-day ascents of large cliffs ("big wall" for the initiated), a platform made of fabric framed by metal structures and attached to the wall with straps.
Obviously, to enjoy that night, it's better to dream more about the dizzying El Capitan than the flatlands, but this atypical night is open to anyone aged 10 and up (in the discovery package) and to athletes over 16 years old in the sensation package. Safety and bivouac equipment is provided by Inax Aventure.
