Village d'Igloos du Semnoz

4 seasons experience in the heart of the Bauges Regional Nature Park, facing Mont-Blanc.

Winter, to take a break from skiing and experience nature up close, we meet at Semnoz at an altitude of 1700m in a village of igloos. Next to the traditional snow igloos, alti-domes are set up for all-season bivouac.

Thus, even the most cold-sensitive can enjoy a night in the heart of nature, even in the middle of winter! But for them, it will be under an alti-dome, a wooden and canvas igloo with a panoramic roof, where comfort is ensured by a wood stove. A cozy, warm interior, a structure that is 100% recyclable and energy self-sufficient, it couldn't be better.
We reach the domes and igloos of the Eco-Bivouac Village d'Igloos with snowshoes by torchlight, following the guide who leads the way. Once there, we meet our neighbors for the evening around the snow bar, and under a giant alti-dome (49 m2, energy self-sufficient, without electricity or water supply) we share delicious local dishes from a nearby restaurateur and a truly unique evening. Finally comes the long-awaited moment to take possession of our real igloo or alti-dome for the night!

In summer, to go a bit further and get closer to the forest, Alpes Bivouac also offers the nomadic bivouac, a night under the stars in a hammock in the heart of the Bauges forest. Fresh air guaranteed.

The package includes snowshoe and torchlight walks, an aperitif around the fire, dinner and a dance evening, overnight stay in an igloo, and breakfast. All options can be found on the Alpes Bivouac website.
