Inuit tents on the island of Houat
Presentation
Practical information
Enjoy a getaway to Houat to sleep facing the ocean.
What a joy to discover an island and what happiness to be among the privileged who get to claim it for a night, because when the last ferry leaves the port, the island reveals itself to its guests.
Thanks to Elen Le Hyaric, originally from Houat, who has returned to settle on this island with her family, we too will get to experience this little pleasure.
From April to September, Elen offers the opportunity to sleep under one of her five Inuit-style tents, designed for two or four adults, plus one child on an extra bed. Between heathland and sea, in a preserved natural setting just a few minutes from the village, this is a dream location facing Île aux Chevaux and Belle-Île.
Futons, tatamis, sheets, duvets, and pillows, comfort is guaranteed for an unusual night on Houat.
In the morning, enjoy breakfast facing the ocean!
Elen truly loves her island and draws it throughout the seasons: fish, crustaceans, shells, her pencil and watercolor sketches are fresh and our favorite!
