After Hossegor in 2017, Jo & Joe will settle in spring 2019 near the Cité Universitaire, at the gates of Paris.
This young brand of the Accor group focuses on conviviality, colorful design, comfort, and the affordable price of its rooms: dormitories with modular spaces in spacious pods equipped with reading lights and USB sockets, cabins for a little more privacy, rooms (private apartments with bathroom and sometimes kitchenette) for small groups of 2 to 5 people or OOO! ('out of the ordinary') up to 6 people with surprising formats like yurts, hammocks, or caravans, all different depending on the destinations.
The bar, the restaurant, the inner garden with dozens of fruit trees will be open to guests and passing visitors, an interaction rooted in the concept of Open Houses ('open houses'). At Jo & Joe, you come with a more or less large and festive tribe, alone or as a couple, with family. Everyone will live here the social experience of a youth hostel in the comfort of a hotel. Plus artistic events because there’s even a stage.
The planted terraces and rooftop vegetable gardens give a boost to the neighborhood's biodiversity. Rainwater recovery to meet WC and irrigation needs, geothermal heating, an elevator that regenerates energy through its own movements, a glued laminated timber superstructure, Jo & Joe Paris Gentilly will be the first hotel labeled 'Low Carbon Building' of the hotel group.
