Climb aboard the Péniche Durandal and the change of scenery begins.
This former freight barge has begun a new life under the sun of Hérault, right next to Béziers. After sailing for nearly 40 years on the canals of northeastern France, Germany, and the Benelux, it welcomes its guests in four double cabins, each with a view of the Canal.
Each guest cabin has its own bathroom (shower, sink, and toilet), a double bed, and a view of both the Canal du Midi and the towpath. The view of the landscape invites relaxation. Unless you prefer to enjoy the deck chairs and the rooftop hot tub.
The calm and beauty of the place contribute to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which Marie and Alain, your hosts on board, welcome you.
Breakfast will be served on the terrace if you wish or in the dining room. A lounge is also available to you.
Just 10 minutes from the sea, between the vineyards and the locks, you can set off by bike to discover the exceptional works of art: the Malpas Tunnel, the nine locks of Fonserannes, and the Canal Bridge of Béziers.

Rates 2019, from €135 per night for two in a double cabin, breakfast included. In the 4 guest cabins with a view of the canal, welcome products (soap, shampoo, shower gel), towels and bathrobes, mineral water, flat-screen TV. Independent shower and toilet.
