The studio of the Péniche Espoir in Avignon.
The Péniche Espoir is moored on the island of Barthelasse, a popular walking spot for Avignon residents with its shaded paths winding through market gardens, running along the banks of the Rhône, or bordering beautiful private gardens.
Thanks to the trail ferry (a free river crossing on the Rhône), it is very easy to reach Avignon.
On the Péniche Espoir, the mariner's accommodation is arranged as a studio ready to host 2 to 3 people in a bright space with its two bay windows, air-conditioned or heated, and connected to Wi-Fi.
The layout of the space is well thought out. A living area and its small equipped kitchen (refrigerator, two electric hobs, microwave oven, electric coffee maker, extractor hood, washing machine, and vacuum cleaner) with a mezzanine hosting a double bed illuminated by daylight thanks to two roof windows. Add to this a bathroom (walk-in shower, dressing table, toilet, towel heater, and ventilation system) and the terrace on the rear deck to observe life on the Rhône.
A pleasant location to discover Avignon, the cradle of the most prestigious contemporary theater festival, and all the beauties of Provence, while enjoying the tranquility of Barthelasse Island, the largest river island in Europe.
Since April 2016, the Péniche Espoir also offers the opportunity to sleep in a transparent bubble, placed on the ship's bow (pending confirmation for 2021). A first since our site has existed ツ

Pricing details
Rates 2021, from €131 per night for two people in the marinier accommodation. Breakfast, €5 per person.
⊹ Marinier accommodation (2-3 people) with independent entrance, free Wi-Fi connection, and parking (shaded in front of the péniche), from €131
⊹ Bubble (2 people) rented from April 1st to October 30th (awaiting confirmation for the 2021 season)
Household linen (sheets and towels) provided. The péniche is not suitable for young children.
