Unusual guest room in Namur
Presentation
Practical information
Guest rooms on a barge in the heart of Namur.
Renovated since 1990 into a guest house by Martine and Bernard, this barge welcomes you at the foot of the Citadel of Namur from October to May. Because in summer, from June to September, it is on the French waterways that you are more likely to encounter it.
Three of the four cabins offer a view of the Meuse, all are comfortable, tastefully furnished, and feature their own white-tiled bathrooms with a shower or bathtub.
After spending the night on the Meuse and having your breakfast facing the river, how about visiting the city (and its Belfry listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) by bike? Your hosts provide them and will be happy to recommend good addresses in Namur.
