Discovering the traditions of Japan
Presentation
Practical information
20 minutes from Zürich, a traditional journey to Japan for an unusual weekend.
The Ryokan Usagiyama - Hotel Hasenberg is the very first traditional Japanese hotel with a spa and hot spring in Europe.
Don't hesitate to go for something 100% unique and opt for the "Japanese" suites. In the shoin-zukuri style, they feature an indoor spa and a thermal jacuzzi on the terrace ... offering a panorama of the Jungfraujoch, Pilatus, and Rigi!
Renowned for its kaiseki-ryori, traditional cuisine considered the pinnacle of culinary refinement in Japan, the restaurant also offers classics such as sushi and tempura, as well as sukiyaki or shabu-shabu fondues and the legendary Wagyu beef, imported directly from Japan.
For those who want to dive deeper, the chef shares some secrets during Japanese cooking classes.
It would be a pity not to take advantage, knowing that the restaurant has been Michelin-selected since 2014!
