In Colombire, everything started with a modest alpine pasture museum created in 1996 by neighboring municipalities determined to preserve rural heritage for future generations. Now the Ecomusée du Remuage, it presents in a didactic and attractive way the 'remuage,' which is the seasonal movements between villages, mayens, and alpine pastures necessary for land exploitation.

It is in one of these two mayens that you can savor the joy of living for a few hours, winter or summer, facing the most beautiful Swiss mountains. Before you, the stunning panoramas of the most beautiful peaks in Valais, from the Matterhorn to Mont-Blanc. Here, you live life at your own pace and according to the season, between walks through the Valais alpine pastures along the Bisse du Tsittoret and more winter activities, as we are on the ski slopes about 60 minutes away on snowshoes or hiking from Aminona.

Mayen "Aminona" for 12 people, from CHF 110.- per night for two in a double room with breakfast and afternoon snack.
Cabin atmosphere with two double rooms with magnificent views of the Matterhorn and 8 beds, living room, and dining room.
The mezzanine, accessible by a ladder, has four comfortable mattresses. The shower/WC rooms are located in the adjoining mayen. The ground floor offers a dormitory with 14 beds (individual or double bunk beds), a dining room, and a shower/WC room. Possibility to privatize one and/or two floors
(wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle).
