Sleeping among wolves in Lorraine
Presentation
Practical information
Spend a night face to face with a pack of wolves, deep in the Moselle forest.
If the howling of wolves doesn’t keep you awake, in a 120-hectare park of nature, meadows, and ponds, 4 hidden spots deep in the forest offer you the chance to approach, observe, and sleep near three species of wolves.
⊹ la Tanière des loups gris d'Europe, rounded and semi-buried (4 people),
⊹ la Cabane du trappeur (6 people) and the white wolves of Alaska,
⊹ le Yellowstone Lodge and le Jack London Lodge, the two iconic eco-lodges open to discover the pack of black wolves from western Canada (or "Timberwolf") that arrived in May 2013.
⊹ since 2018, le Hameau des loups includes five lodges (6 people) around a new pack that joined the park.
In the heart of the discovery area "History of the Wolf", these two high-end and ecological lodges each feature large bay windows to immerse yourself in the world of wolves, a fireplace, and outdoor jacuzzis for relaxing on the terrace, sheltered by glass walls (up to 5 people).
The Yellowstone Lodge is a contemporary house with a clean and sleek design, whereas the Jack London Lodge is a log cabin in the pure style of a vast and warm North American home (accessible to people with reduced mobility).
A true experience for the whole family (from 3 years old) that finds its place in the highly educational Sainte-Croix animal park. Who will be more observed, the wolf or you?
Our experience at the Jack London Lodge can be found here.
✯ Open from late March to mid-November ; for bookings, it’s here ✯
