On this rocky terrain bristling with fortress-like towers, the xemonia are undeniable symbols of the Maniots' need to protect themselves from external invaders. But also to assert the power of their family and its leader in the neighboring village.

The architect couple Kostas Zouvelos and Kassiani Theodorakakou, originally from the region, fell in love with this tower and its location and rehabilitated it into a guest house.

Three rooms with minimal furnishings, a restaurant reserved for guests, and a sublime infinity pool carved into the rock. Far from the tumult of the world, this 19th-century tower stands majestically above the infinite blue.
