To experience the sunrise over the Alps, at Rochers-de-Naye (2042 m).
Everything starts in Montreux, where you board the cogwheel train that clings to the mountainside to reach, after 1600 meters of elevation, one of the most beautiful natural viewpoints in Switzerland.
In less than an hour, you’ve gone from palm trees by the lakeside to daffodils and edelweiss. A true promontory overlooking the city of Montreux, the Rochers-de-Naye offers one of the most spectacular views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. On clear days, you can see the Matterhorn (Eiger or Matterhorn), the Mont Blanc massif, and the Geneva water fountain.
Thanks to the Yourte Experience package, upon your arrival, you’ll receive the keys to your comfortable yurt. Each yurt features a stove and excellent insulation (remember to bring your personal sleeping bag!) and accommodates up to 8 people.
Dinner (Mongolian fondue is the house specialty) and breakfast are served at the restaurant.
On-site, several activities are offered: visiting "Marmottes Paradis," the alpine garden (with over 1000 varieties of alpine plants), hiking, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, caving, zip lining, rappelling, archery, etc.
A little bonus, the online availability calendar even lets you choose your yurt.

Pricing details
2017 rate, the price for two, night in a yurt, dinner, breakfast, and round trip included:✦ A unique package for the rental of the yurt for one night, regardless of the number of people (up to 8 people), from Thursday to Sunday, at 460 CHF.
✦ An additional charge of 80 CHF per adult for the round trip by cogwheel train from Montreux to Rochers-de-Naye and half board (breakfast and dinner excluding drinks). Reduced rate (55 CHF) for 6-16 years old.
Example: 460 CHF for two adults in a privatized yurt for one night with half board.
Practically, sanitary facilities are available in a neighboring building.
An option with a night in a room at the Rochers-de-Naye hotel (2 to 6 beds) instead of the yurt starting at 30 CHF/person.
