At Le Moulin de la Jarousse, all adventures are possible. Perched in a cabin at the top of a tree, nestled in a suspended nest, or secluded far from everything in a floating chalet on the water, lovers of unusual stays will never run out of surprises.

Just imagine: three charming chalets are set up by the edge of the water, which is overlooked by a small house on stilts facing south. By looking up, you can spot among the greenery dwellings with unique atmospheres each time: "zen" or "Bollywood" ambiance, "Mill Cabin" or "Terrace Cabin," there are several ways to elevate oneself. Suspended a few meters above the ground, the "lov'nids" shelter traveling birds for an eternal season of love. The Belle Etoile Cabin has been opening its roof to us since 2016, while adrenaline enthusiasts have been cozying up since spring 2017 in a new cabin perched very, very high: a futuristic "Module" surrounded by its giant hammock, which is accessed via a clever series of monkey bridges (see photo).
The yurt or the cottages appeal to those who prefer to stay grounded.
All that's left is to live at nature's pace: canoes available on the calm waters of the pond, pony rides, and hikes are all ways to succumb to the bucolic charm of Dordogne. The spa, the heated pool, and the excellent Périgord cuisine served at Le Moulin de la Jarousse are there to remind us that modern comfort also has its perks.
