Unusual stay in Hamburg
Presentation
Practical information
Drop anchor at the 25hours Hotel HafenCity.
In Hamburg, it's hard to escape the port and the music! The 25hours Hotel HafenCity has found its place between The Elbphilharmonie, the cruise ship terminal, the superb Maritime Museum, and the historic warehouses of the Speicherstadt, a trendy district on the banks of the Elbe. Designer shops, trendy restaurants, and bars, everything is here.
In the heart of the new HafenCity, the 25hours combines surprising interpretations of maritime life, repurposed objects, and raw materials like concrete, steel, natural wood, and leather.
From the entrance, the tone is set. Yellow letters on a black background on the floor, wooden crates, and a Hapag-Lloyd shipping container transformed into a conference room, we could be in a freight warehouse.
Restaurant, bar, shop, business center called 'Radio Room,' library nicknamed 'Vinyl Room' for its record collection and various turntables available, the ground floor is a place where people love to gather in a port-like atmosphere with industrial decor.
On the rooftop terrace with panoramic views, a container houses the 'Harbour Sauna' and the fitness room. Even punching bags and outdoor showers are available if you feel like it...
The 170 rooms organized like cabins feature trunks as workspaces, rope and wooden ladders on the walls, illustrations by Jindrich Novotny, a host of quirky and amusing details for travelers passing through, nomads like sailors, in Hamburg.
Hotel guests and locals mingle at the bar or the Heimat Küche restaurant (local and organic cuisine), the 25hours Hotel HafenCity is embraced.
To explore the neighborhood, they'll even lend you a Schindelhauer bike!
