In this former prison, a remnant of the former Republic of Yugoslavia, 20 cells have been decorated with the help of 80 Slovenian and foreign artists. Guided tours highlighting the artists are organized daily.

Since 2003, the success of this youth hostel has been such that it is advisable to book several months in advance.

From 17 EUR
2018 rates, from €17 to €23 (depending on the season) per night for a bed in the 12-bed dormitory, including breakfast, sheets, towels, wi-fi connection, and taxes.

Bed in a cell (2 or 3 beds), between €24 and €33 / person
Bed in a room (4 or 5 beds), between €21 and €29 / person

Breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30, €3 per person.
And at noon, upon presentation of a student card, lunch costs €3.20 (for everyone else, starting from €4.80).

Note: it is possible to privatize a room by paying for unoccupied beds minus €3 / bed.
