Unusual hotel in Paris
Presentation
Practical information
12 styles and a unique atmosphere behind every door !
The Sentier, it's a whole story, in the light of Hôtel Edgar!
This historic textile district, so bustling on weekdays but dormant as soon as Friday arrives, has experienced a beautiful revival of energy since the arrival of Hôtel Edgar and the terrace of its restaurant.
The two friends and partners, Guillaume Rouget-Luchaire and Xavier Thiéry, are no strangers to such endeavors. For their hotel, they searched until they found an abandoned workshop on the very Parisian Alexandrie square. All that was left was to think of the décor. And here, Hôtel Edgar becomes the playground for Guillaume's circle. Family and friends, all artists and creatives, designed 13 uniquely tempered rooms to make us dive into the unknown and take us elsewhere.
It's up to us to choose the room that will captivate us. Will it be sensual like the Ma Nuit rooms imagined by Elise Darblay and Baptiste Rouget-Luchaire, both documentary filmmakers, or Ebène Rock, black like a photo lab, by stylist Pascal Brault and scenographer Stéphane Lubrina?
Or more quirky and animated, like the Lala Salama room - sleep well in Swahili - by photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, the Dream room with its chandelier populated by figurines from our childhood designed by sculptor Béatrice Arthus-Bertrand, or the Chambre Perchée revisited by Alain Laurens, creator of La Cabane Perchée, and Daniel Dufour, designer and illustrator of the cabins?
A charming little square almost always in the sun becomes a chic and colorful terrace to escape far from everything.
