On the Laikipia plateau at the northern border of Kenya, the Loisaba lodge overlooks a lush and magnificent wilderness. Green plains, hills, cliffs, the private concession hosting it offers a breathtaking view of Mount Kenya and the Ewaso N'giro and Engare Nawok rivers.
A dazzling setting for the 'Star Beds', open-air beds. One is perched on a small rocky hill facing the Kiboko waterhole, and the other is located a little further south, next to the river.
The African skies and wildlife, zebras, lions, buffaloes, elephants are waiting for you.
Romantic, spectacular, and supportive, as the 'Star Beds' are designed and owned by the Maasai of the Koija community as part of a responsible tourism program. They will guide you and cook traditionally for you during this night under the stars.

Rates 2018, from 1272 USD for two nights (minimum stay) for two people on a full board basis.Kiboko and Koija Star Beds consist of two double platforms -to accommodate up to 4 people- and a shower area.
