Unusual night close to the animals
Presentation
Practical information
Unusual night close to the bear.
Since the opening of the hill of marmots, which dates back to the late 1990s, Serge Mounard has amazed us and raised awareness about French biodiversity, both in mainland France and overseas. A popular destination for enthusiasts and children, everyone will certainly have their favorite among the 250 species spread over 14 hectares: mouflons, marmots, otters.
A trapper's cabin already allowed extending the visit to the wildlife park with a night spent close to the pack of gray wolves.
Since 2016, another cabin has allowed visitors to get closer to the lord of the Pyrenees, as it is called here: the emblematic brown bear. This refuge is a perfect hideout to observe these short-eared, round-eared plantigrades as a couple. Everything is ready to accommodate two guests in a spacious room with a terrace.
A suite opening onto the bear enclosure, in short.
✯ Open from late March to early November ✯
