Immersive stays at the heart of one of the largest and oldest zoological parks in France, the Zoo de la Flèche. Stéphane da Cunha, the Director of the zoo, wanted these 18 lodges and African huts installed facing the tigers, including white tigers from Asia, Arctic white wolves, lemurs (striped in white!) from Madagascar, cheetahs, lions, polar bears, or grizzlies to make your nights magical.
Surrounded by rice fields and grasses, the exclusive domain of the Bengal tiger couple transports you to Bali or Sumatra, two destinations that inspired the names of the zoo's Indonesian pavilions. A thrilling experience guaranteed when Soha, the male weighing over 230 kg, locks eyes with you. Observe or be observed, but only a secure glass bay separates you from this mythical predator.
The same principle applies in the Alaska and Hudson lodges with the colors of the Canadian great north. Take a seat behind the two large bay windows for this exceptional face-to-face with the Arctic wolves, a striking experience to have once in a lifetime. The warm ambiance of the wood combined with a carefully chosen decor, and we become Canadian trappers for one unique night!
The atmosphere changes again with the three African huts on stilts, advanced observation posts on the territory of the ring-tailed lemurs, those playful lemurs that delight children so much.
Since 2014, the Arctic Lodge, 120m2 with large panoramic bay windows, has opened on the territory of the polar bears. Immersion directly from the living room, the incredible parental bedroom offering an underwater view (!!), or the children's bedroom, a sort of cabin-refuge to share this unique experience.
