Much more than a hotel, the Mama Shelter Prague is a modern-day refuge.
Ten years after the first Mama (Paris), the eccentric adventure of Mama Shelter continues with the summer 2018 opening of this hotel above Stromovka Park, one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Prague.
Housed in a glass and concrete building designed by architect Zdenek Edel in the 1960s, these pure and minimalist lines are dressed in the warm, lively, and hyper-connected style of Mama. From the rooms on the top floors, the view opens onto the red rooftops and castles of the Czech Republic's capital, a great way to get acquainted with the city before enjoying the terrace and the bar while sipping a cocktail around a foosball table.
From the hotel, you can pleasantly cross the park to reach the Troja district with its botanical garden or zoo. To get to the southern bank and its iconic sites, the Old Town, Charles Bridge, the astronomical clock (recently restored), 15 minutes by tram will suffice. And the stop for line no. 17 is located in front of the hotel. Easy!
Prague is a destination for partying, relaxing, or wandering aimlessly, for diving into art, design, museums, and concerts. A wonderful city in spring as well as under the snow.
