Highly exotic, this cabin makes us live the life of a château !
Destination Chavanat, a small village of 150 inhabitants between Guéret and Aubusson, to rejuvenate in the fresh air of the Creuse countryside. To welcome us in a generous nature, the brand-new guest room of the Château de Memanat has made its nest in a wooden cabin, a cabin shaped like a castle!
Here no moats, but a spiral staircase to reach happiness.
The main bedroom opens onto the 20ha of the estate with the Thaurion valley in the distance. One of the two towers of the castle hides a bedroom for two children. Living room, kitchen, bathroom, heating (or air conditioning!), even the jacuzzi on the terrace has been designed for relaxation.
Set off to explore the park down to the river that borders it (the Thaurion, a trout river par excellence), discover its secret gardens, meet the horses, donkeys, or goats on the property, hop on bikes to cross the kilometers of peaceful woods, visit the charming medieval village of Bourganeuf, or relax by the pool while the children play on the swings; young and old alike find their inspiration here.
Just like their hosts, Nathalie and Andrew, two thirty-somethings who arrived with their family from Liverpool, still marvel at the deer crossing the path and the clear rivers of this beautiful region.
