Arty Boutique Hotel in the center of Paris
Presentation
Practical information
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the 1st arrondissement, the hotel by Ora-Ito and its rest capsules.
First hotel imagined by Ora-Ïto, Hôtel Odyssey -formerly Hôtel O- seems inspired by Kubrick's Odyssey.
'Simplexity', it is with this neologism that the French designer Ora-Ïto defines himself the concept of the universe he opens to us with this hotel of the Elegancia group. 'Simplexity' for simplicity and complexity, or the art of making something complex appear simple.
By creating 29 intimate rooms like boat cabins or Japanese capsule hotels (12 to 16 m2), Ora-Ïto also wanted to demonstrate that one can make warm design in spaces colored in purple, yellow, orange, green, blue, without walls, with noble materials such as the blond wood of the alcoves, felt or the white corian of the bathroom shells.
The result is there, 29 contemporary rooms, narrow, with rounded angles, declined around three forms according to the size of the room, Galileo, Cocoon and Odyssey with the bed as the central element.
For it is indeed around this centerpiece that everything is articulated: light buttons, television remote control, USB inputs for the iPhone or iPad and even the bathroom, separated only by a colored glass partition.
The GalileO room is undoubtedly the one where you would prefer to dream as a couple. A perfect love nest with this alcove born from the designer's imagination.
