Sleep among South American animals

Immersions among rainbow-colored tropical birds 30 minutes from Paris
14,000 animal species are endangered worldwide, we know it all too well. Among them are psittacids - parrots - threatened by deforestation, poaching, and trafficking. A decline caused by human activity.
So when Eric Vignot, an entrepreneur passionate about parrots, decides to work for the preservation of biodiversity, he thinks big!
His foundation Parrot Wildlife Foundation takes concrete actions around the world, including in France, and in the summer of 2020 opens a brand-new wildlife park dedicated to South America, Parrot World. Marvel at the beauties of the Amazon and Patagonia, become aware of South America's ecosystems, and pay attention to the interdependence of living beings to better protect nature — this is what Eric Vignot proposes with the support of Jamy Gourmaud, the fantastic patron of the Parrot Wildlife Foundation.
Entering the immense 10,000 m2 aviary, the largest in Europe, you are instantly transported to South America. In this exotic universe where hundreds of tropical birds can be observed in free flight, other endangered species will also be present: rheas and guanacos, ibises, flamingos, Humboldt penguins, giant otters, and even jaguars!
If you love immersive experiences, another treat awaits you. At Parrot World five stilt lodges open onto recreated South American landscapes: to admire the scarlet ibises, the Pantanal lodge pays homage to the world's most beautiful wetland at the border of Brazil, two lodges face the majestic jaguars, one lodge overlooks the giant otters in their river, and another is set in an explorer's camp.
A must for the youngest visitors, feeding animations punctuate the day, as well as a large play area (the Canopy Raft), a petting farm (the Children's Ranch) home to dwarf goats and alpacas, and the 1001 Pattes Cabin to discover biodiversity.
Eventually, the African and Asian continents will also be represented through their species and iconic landscapes, but until then, we eagerly await August 15, 2020, and the opening of Parrot World!
