Marine and Gil welcome us aboard their commercial barge for a few days of river travel in line with their freight activity.
They dreamed of journeys on the water and decided to seize their chance at that moment, like Kairos. Kairos, a Greek deity, the one of the opportune moment, the 'right time' as English speakers would say.
They then changed their lives in 2003 to become commercial mariners and navigate the rivers from the North of Holland to the South of France. A part of their boat now houses three guest rooms, each with its own bathroom, toilet, storage, and windows, of course, so as not to miss anything of this journey along the water.
The route is decided based on their professional obligations; to know where to board, it’s through >> here <<.
At an average of 6 Km/h, the trips are discovered at the pace of a peaceful navigation, about 5 hours a day to leave time to enjoy the places crossed.
On this commercial boat, the days are enriching for the guests who share the daily life of our two mariners. They are so eager to tell you about the river world and the beauty of the landscapes, let’s listen to them!
..:: 2017 Innovation ::.. Gourmet navigators, Marine and Gilles also great sports enthusiasts; Kairos already housed bikes, kayaks, and a small sailboat named 'Kronos' (selected as a character boat to participate in the Semaine du golf du Morbihan), and now here is 'Speedos', the two-seater land yacht. As we said, living a journey aboard is a surprising experience ツ
At the end of 2018, Marine and Gil decided to move on to other projects, the Kairos will continue its adventure on its own. We will keep an eye on the Seine, hoping to cross paths with it again.

Pricing details
Rates 2018, €80 per night for two in a double cabin, breakfast included.Two cabins with a double bed (Mijane and Largadou) and a starboard cabin with two single beds (Maillette).
Each cabin has its own private bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower.

⊹ Single cabin, €75 per night, €145 for two nights
⊹ Double cabin, €80 per night, €150 for two nights
⊹ Entire boat, meaning the three cabins: €200 per night and €370 for two nights
⊹ Upon reservation, gourmet dinner available for €28 per person
On board, Wi-Fi connection and drinks are included, bicycles, kayak, and sailboat are generously provided during the cruise.
On a practical note, thanks to their car, Marine and Gilles arrange to pick you up from a station or a nearby town.
Motorcycle enthusiasts, your beautiful machines can board for the cruise (maximum 4 motorcycles).
