On the occasion of a short stop in Barcelona, here is a new unique accommodation address. Opened in April 2014 in the Eixample district, just steps from La Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia, the location is perfect for exploring the Catalan capital.
To reach the lobby, you walk along the counter where sweet pastries and various breads are displayed. The decoration, designed by Lazaro Rosa-Violán, is industrial and minimalist with bricks, steel, and tiles.
Step inside the hotel, and an irresistible smell of freshly baked bread greets you. The Baluard House has partnered with this innovative project and has set up a traditional bakery and its wood oven in the very heart of the hotel. Small breads, pastries, and even jams and charcuterie from the region.
Hmmm... a delightful touch to end a vibrant and colorful evening reminiscent of the Catalan capital.
