Glamping in the mountains

Presentation Practical information
A trapper tent in Mont-Saxonnex, mountain glamping!

Since the trapper tents of the Morsullaz pasture were set up among the beech and spruce trees, this small village of Mont-Saxonnex has become a paradise for children, both young and old.

An eco-friendly and comfortable accommodation to escape into nature just twenty minutes from Cluses. Sleeping with family or friends (max 6) in one of the 5 trapper tents lit by candlelight and heated with a wood stove is delightful. With hotel-like service in a tipi to enjoy breakfast or regional specialties for dinner, it's even better!

Since it is open all year round, at Altipik Camp we rediscover the joys of the mountains with the rhythm of the seasons. At an altitude of 1200m with guaranteed mountain views!

In winter, sledding, snowshoeing or dog sledding with mushers, building igloos, snowmen, discovering ice ruisseling, the days for little trappers are never long enough.
At the foot of the Morsullaz chairlift, you can easily access 15 km of family-friendly slopes (7 ski lifts including 4 baby lifts) or the foot of Bargy on the site of Lake Bénit.
When the snow melts, a calm and preserved nature is revealed. Donkeys, rabbits, goats, and chickens replace the snowmen, it's the season for building huts, making herbariums, orientation courses and hikes, climbing, or water ruisseling.
Recently introduced, ice-ruisseling and water-ruisseling are fun activities. One involves walking upstream in a river to explore the aquatic environment. In winter, its counterpart is ice ruisseling; you can then walk up frozen streams using crampons on the ice and admire the water flowing just below. In both summer and winter, the presence of a mountain guide and proper equipment (crampons, helmet, etc.) is essential.
