After embarking in 2004 on the 'Curved House' in Clapham, south of London, a house built in a curve notably to save a chestnut tree present in the garden, then in 2012 on the construction of the first suspended nest in Great Britain, the Red Kite Tree Tent, we find them on the slopes of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.

Heading to the path leading to the summit of Prarion. At the edge of the forest after a few minutes of walking - by snowmobile or skijoring in winter! -, a genuine 19th-century alpine chalet and its mazot are revealed. The windows of this romantic retreat open onto Saint-Gervais and the Aravis. Inside, perfect restoration with just the right amount of design to blend into a bubble of comfort and softness.

The perfect day?
Hop aboard the Mont-Blanc Tramway in Saint-Gervais, this mythical cogwheel train, to reach Bellevue at 1800m altitude in less than an hour and put on your skis to return to the chalet through the Les Houches ski area, then unwind in the Nordic bath.

Parking at the Toilles parking lot, at the top of the Prarion motorable road. Then, take the hiking trail for about 10 minutes.
