Chetzeron

Chetzeron

Design hotel at the top of the slopes

Presentation Practical information
Breathtaking view for dreams above the clouds in Crans-Montana.

To discover this successful transformation (ActesCollectifs architects), head to the Valais Alps and their wonderful panoramas, 40 minutes from Sierre, in one of Switzerland's most legendary ski resorts, though many others also enchant us: Crans-Montana.

Perched at 2112 meters above sea level in the heart of the ski area, the former Chetzeron cable car arrival station dating back to the 1960s has been converted into a luxury high-altitude hotel since late 2014. An intimate cocoon of 16 rooms where the view of the Alps from Mont-Rose to Mont-Blanc is beautifully framed by oak wood, slate, and glass.

The restaurant (120 seats) with its minimalist architecture and extraordinary volumes offers a menu of both market and mountain cuisine. Facing south, it provides a breathtaking view of the Valais Alps through its large bay windows.
The ultra-panoramic wooden terrace is arranged on three levels to create three atmospheres: large tables, hammocks, deck chairs, and sheepskins for lounging, or a lounge brazier for smaller gatherings.

Equally magical, the heated pool has found refuge on the hotel's roof. Spa, sauna, steam room, and massages are, of course, part of the experience.

Exceptional location, exceptional means. In winter, the hotel is accessible by snowcat or skiing from the top of the Cry d'Err cable car. In summer, it can be reached on foot, by mountain bike, scooter, or aboard the hotel's Jeep.

Did you know? Chetzeron means "the round ridge" in Valais patois, which explains the hotel's logo.
