Funny nests in the Ubaye Valley!
Since George Clooney declared in March 2014 that he loves to regularly visit the Ubaye Valley and Barcelonnette, it is no longer necessary to be "athletically engaged" to venture into this valley.
From Barcelonnette to Lake Serre-Ponçon, white water sports reign supreme. Beginners and enthusiasts of white-water swimming, rafting, canoe-kayaking, hydrospeed, or canyoning will enjoy descending the legendary Ubaye.
Hiking or mountain biking, paragliding, treetop adventure courses, golf, there is no shortage of opportunities to breathe in the fresh air here!!
For a unique overnight stay in the valley, there are quirky little transparent tents suspended between trees 4 meters above the ground. Follow the forest trails and look up, you will see them gently swaying with the movement of the trees or their occupants.
To access them, just walk on the safety nets stretched between the trees. The night and the constellation of stars of the Alpes de Haute-Provence are yours.
