Boarding at the gates of Sauternes for a journey across the five continents.

In the south of Gironde, near Sauternes, Olivier Clerc took on the crazy challenge of taking us on a journey without leaving the 8 hectares of the estate he created. His idea sprouted during his final thesis on sustainable tourism, and after five years of work, the young entrepreneur opened the doors of EcÔtelia in October 2014.

Let's discover the unusual and ecological habitats of the five continents. 24 accommodations divided between Asia (yurts), America (trapper cabins), Africa (Berber tents), Oceania (safari tents), and Europe (winegrower's or gypsy caravans, typical southwestern pigeon loft cabins, perched castles, pods).

Traveling is great, respecting nature is even better!
On the edge of a dense forest, EcÔtelia has chosen a true ecological approach with habitats designed using natural and environmentally friendly construction and insulation materials, a natural swimming pool, and a focus on local products for both crafts and organic breakfast offerings.

The domain is open all year round thanks to auxiliary heating (always pleasant!) except for the tents, which are available from March to October.
