At the southern tip of the island, surrounded by unspoiled landscapes and magnificent white sand coves, the lovely bay of Chia is revealed. Will it remain a secret for long? You need to follow a narrow path closed to the public to reach this former Italian Navy lighthouse. Proudly standing amidst 40 hectares of preserved scrubland and overlooking a steep granite cliff, this exceptional spot offers us an endless view of blue-green sea. Today, as it has for 150 years, the Faro Capo Spartivento continues to guide sailors.
The coast guards of the 80s have given way to wealthy tourists. In the main building from 1856, two modern suites with round beds have a sea view, and two others overlook the hill. Taking advantage of the lighthouse's restoration, Alessio Raggio, its owner, built an annex to offer two additional suites furnished with antique finds and more contemporary creations, such as the wonderful Murano chandeliers in the living room.
Since 2016, the lighthouse keeper's house has opened its doors to the first guests. In this building that embraces an elevated teak courtyard, one room and four suites have replaced the lighthouse staff's quarters.
Exclusive rooms and suites, a restaurant, and on the 200 m2 wooden terrace, an embedded pool, but the chosen isolation comes at a price, that of the only lighthouse in Italy to have been transformed into a hotel.

In each suite you will find a king-size bed, towel warmer, bath towels and bathrobes (with daily change), mirrors, air conditioning, minibar, internet connection, safe, satellite LCD TV with DVD, and stereo.
